New Boundary Technologies Opens Prism Deploy 6.0 Beta Testing
New Boundary Technologies has opened beta testing of Prism Deploy 6.0, its software deployment solution. According to the vendor, Prism Deploy 6.0 includes new features that improve deployment performance, enhance network security and administration, and increase IT department efficiency. Prism Deploy 6.0 is scheduled for general availability in July. New security features in the product include security roles, digital certificate support, and permissions deployment. New deployment features include wake-on-LAN, checkpoint restart, content templates, and management console improvements. Prism Deploy 6.0 also includes new software-management features, such as removal and repair of software and configuration data.
